Privacy policy

Introduction

This is the privacy policy for emberforge.sg, the corporate website of Ember Forge Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore. Our UEN and registered office are listed on the Contact page.

It explains what personal data we collect on this site, how we use it, and your rights under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

This policy covers this website only. Ember Forge’s products — DormLife, CivilQuants, and others — have their own privacy policies, published on their respective sites at the time of launch.

What we collect

Almost nothing.

This site has no forms, no user accounts, no analytics cookies, and no JavaScript-level personal data collection of any kind. Visiting a page does not create a record of you.

If you send an email to hello@emberforge.sg, we keep the email — your address, the message, and any attachments — for as long as it is useful to the conversation. We do not otherwise store or profile you.

Third-party services

This site is served through third parties. We have chosen them for their privacy posture, but their own policies apply to anything they handle on our behalf:

  • Vercel Inc. — hosts the site. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare Inc. — provides DNS, TLS, and cookieless Web Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not fingerprint visitors. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Zoho Corporation — provides email hosting for hello@emberforge.sg via Zoho Mail. See the Zoho Privacy Policy.

Data routed through these services may be stored in jurisdictions outside Singapore. By using this site or emailing us, you consent to that transfer under section 26 of the PDPA.

Your rights under the PDPA

Under Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
  • Withdraw any consent you have given us.
  • Complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC).

Retention

We retain email correspondence for as long as it is useful to the relationship, and we delete it on written request unless we are legally required to keep it.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the bottom of this page shows when the current version took effect. Material changes will be summarised at the top of the page for thirty days.
